Pleasant Company marks

Greetings!
I am driving myself insane trying to find out a source of information that can (reliably) tell me which "Pleasant Company" logo marks are the oldest. I am refering to the marks on the back of the dolls heads, and the different sizes and positions of the (p) symbol, and the size of the lettering.
Any ideas???

On my mom's original Molly doll from 1986 the marking on the back actually looks like typical rectangle (with rounded edges) along the back of the neck with Pleasant Company etched into the center of this rectangle (the letering almost looks like it was done by hand)...the c is actually very small and sits above the P in Pleasant. Behind the right ear is the "artist mark" which resembles three lines crossed with a small letter e underneath

The dolls immediately following a few years later are almost exactly the same except the c for the copyright is in front of the P not above it (and they have the "artist mark")

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">And some from the same era have that mark except the C is above the P, but a teeny bit to the left. Like only halfway over the P. This is the one my older Felicity has. My slighty newer (but still PM) Felicity has the C directly to the left of the Pleasant Company mark.
